Frequently Asked Questions

Q:
Can I continue to use my favorite moisturizer or other products on
my face?
A:
Yes. We encourage you to wait for ten minutes or so after applying
Trienelle Reductase-5 before putting another product over it. As far
as moisturization is concerned, you are likely to find that you don’t
really need any additional product because the Reductase-5 is itself
such an effective moisturizer.
Q: How often do
I need to apply the Reductase-5?
A:
It should be applied morning and evening, just after cleansing your
face. We recommend Trienelle’s Balanced Cleansing Mousse as
a very effective, gentle cleanser that prepares the face for application
of the Reductase-5.
Q: Where should
I apply the Reductase-5?
A: It is designed to work for your face as
a whole. The botanicals and nutrients are good for the entire face,
helping the skin to maintain its normal function. While you should
not apply it too close to the eyes, it can be applied to the remainder
of the face – with special attention to the areas that tend
to have unwanted hair.
Q: Does the Reductase-5 contain parabens?
A: No.
Q: Does the Reductase-5 work for men?
A: While
the ingredients of the formula do the same work in both men and women,
the male face has a much more hairy starting point. Consequently,
while the gentle influence of the botanical formulation can help restore
a normal function in women, it won’t take away a beard on a
man.
Q: How long will it take to see results?
A: As
you might expect, it varies from person to person. Some see results
within a week or two. For others, it can take three months to see
the full effects. Generally, the effects are seen to appear gradually
and to build over time.
Q: I have sensitive skin. Should I expect any
problems using the Reductase-5?
A: The formulation is quite mild and is rarely
a problem for users. There are exfoliating agents in it, however,
and for some women these can be a little irritating initially.
Q: I’ve used depilatory products
before – is that what the Reductase-5 is?
A:
No. This is not a depilatory. It is a leave-on cream that helps normalize
skin function over time. That’s unlike a depilatory that has
to be wiped off the skin within minutes of application.
Q: I have an allergy
to aspirin. I notice that this product has salicylic acid in it. Should
I use it?
A: No. If you have a known allergy to aspirin,
it can result in serious reactions. Salicylic acid is closely related
to aspirin, so you should not use this product.
Q: Is there someone I can talk to if
I have more questions?
A: If

toll-free at 800-539-5195 to talk with one of our knowledgeable staff.
